1993

Economics alumnus and Alaska Superior Court judge Paul Roetman, B.A. ’93, was reappointed to serve as presiding judge for the Second Judicial District in December 2020. He was appointed to the bench in 2010 and has served as the presiding judge since 2015.

1997

Civil engineering grad Lisa Corcoran, B.S. ’97, was promoted to manager of planning and engineering at Spokane International Airport in January 2021.

2003

Educational leadership grad Clayton Holland, M.Ed. ’03, will become the next superintendent of the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District following a unanimous vote in favor by the board of education during a special meeting in late January 2021.

2004

Business administration alumna Elizabeth Pavlas, B.B.A. ’01, M.B.A. ’04, was promoted to chief operations officer of Alaska USA Federal Credit Union in January 2021.

2009

Civil engineering grad Kyler Dias, B.S. ’09, was newly hired as project manager at Cornerstone, responsible for leading the firm’s efforts in federal contracting opportunities.

2010

After 15 years with CRW Engineering Group, LLC, engineering management alumna Erica Jensen, B.S. ’06, M.S. ’10, became the firm’s newest principal, joining 13 other partners instrumental in company decisions and planning future business growth.

2010

Special education alumna Sally Stockhausen, M.Ed. ’10, of Ketchikan was reappointed to the Alaska Board of Education and Early Development in February 2021.

2013

R&M Consultants, Inc. announced in February 2021 that civil engineering alumnus Jun Robinson, A.A.S. ’05, B.S. ’13, joined the firm as a structural staff engineer.

2017

In February 2021, mechanical engineering alumnus Arin “AJ” Wooster, B.S. ’17, of Coffman Engineers completed state licensure requirements, including passing the mechanical engineering exam, and obtained his Alaska Professional Engineering License.
